MTC is Getting a Facelift

Markham Tennis Club is embarking on a revitalization effort to foster more active lifestyles through the sport of tennis. The community has been well serviced by the club for almost 50 years, but aging infrastructure has prevented it from achieving its full potential as a vibrant tennis facility for all age groups, demographics and abilities.

The work will be completed in two Phases:

1. Phase-1: Replace the aging clubhouse with assistance from the City of Markham, and replace the old wooden deck with a new accessible patio. Target Date: Feb 2017

2. Phase-2, with grant assistance, will further improve safety, accessibility and playability: upgrades to the entrance patio, walkway, and 3 tennis courts. Target Date: May 2017
